A high-tech surface modification machine. It exposes fabrics to an ionized gas electrical field (plasma discharge) at high voltages. The plasma gently etches the fiber surfaces at a microscopic level without altering the core strength of the fabric, changing its surface energy to significantly improve chemical bonding, dyeing capabilities, or moisture absorption.
