Production of Filaments from pilot scale Melt Spinning Machine.
Detailed Description
About:
A melt spinning machine is used to produce synthetic fibers (like polyester or nylon). It melts solid polymer chips inside an extruder, pumps the liquid polymer through a spinneret (a plate with micro-holes), and cools the extruded liquid filaments with cold air until they solidify into long yarn strands.
Minimum Quantity Required : 5 kg (only in chips form)
Available Denier Range : POY (Partially Oriented Yarn): 50 to 600 Denier
FDY (Fully Drawn Yarn): 40 to 200 Denier
Available Filament Count : 8, 12, 24, 36, 55, etc. (determines yarn softness and density)
Compatible Polymers : Polyester, Nylon, Polypropylene, etc.
